Impact of Technology on Pandemic

Abstract

Technology has been an essential pillar of the modern economy. Many people and governments have been using modern technology to undertake various activities of economic importance. Subsequently, the use of technology was strategic after the 2020 global COVID-19 pandemic. It demonstrated the ability tapped by the technology experts to drive the world economies while simultaneously easing the communication and transmission of various products and services. While working with the army, we also witnessed a wide range of areas where technology was effectively utilized during and after the global COVID-19 pandemic. For instance, in December 2019, a new strain of the Corona virus, known as the SARS-CoV-2, resulted in the outbreaks of the pandemic, Covid-19. The strain originated in Wuhan, a Chinese City (Mondal & Mitra, 2022). Like other strains of influenza virus, the SARS-CoV-2 that attacks the respiratory systems of the human species, COVID-19 was no different.
