Abstract

Bystanders are growing due to needing more engagement in groups or team workspaces. In the workplace, there is a trend that most people focus on doing work individually instead of adding inclusion. It is known as the bystander phenomenon, meaning the more significant the groups, the less likely individuals will look and reach out to help others. This is a grander crisis that needs more attention because, since COVID-19, more individuals in these group spaces have led to chaos, including mismanagement, arguments, etc.

These issues can be resolved if the team model is applied. For those who need to learn the team model, it is designed for strategic leaders and groups wanting to succeed in group work by improving themselves and others for a task they might have. For example, these organizations and individuals should be organized and communicate instead of having arguments and disputes. To accomplish this, they must know about the individuals around them and how to work more effectively with each other. The team model would show strengths best suited for each task as a team, pushing the group further past their expectations and becoming closer over time.
